New episode of Doctor Who, "The God Complex", is airing tonight at 7.10 on BBC1 and on some other stations around the world. It's written by Toby Whithouse, who has also produced gems such as "School Reunion" and "Vampires in Venice".

Grab a snack and allons-y.

There will be spoilers for 6x11 The God Complex and the next time trailer in the comments, so let's get this show on the road!

Who's ready for some new Doctor Who? You are? Cool.

The new episode, 6x10 The Girl Who Waited, airs tonight at 7.15 on BBC1 and at other times around the world as well. This one comes to us from Tom MacRae, who last wrote for DW back in season 2 with Rise of the Cybermen/The Age of Steel. He is also really good looking. I'm feeling a little cheated that no one has brought this to my attention before now tbh.

This episode will feature more old-person makeup, ass-kicking Amy and some "handbots". Character episode? Character episode? Don't promise me things if you can't deliver, show. Also,

There will be spoilers from 6x10 and the next-time trailer in this post. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Sorry for the lack of pre-episode post yesterday, guys. That's what happens when your mod team scatters off to go on holiday or to school or swim with the lobsters or what have you. Here's a macro to make up for it:

Tonight! 6x09 Night Terrors! This is a Mark Gatiss episode, the same guy who wrote The Unquiet Dead and The Idiot's Lantern and who also played that one guy who turned himself into a scorpion.

This post is going up really early, but the episode airs tonight at 7pm on BBC1. Spoilers in this post for 6x09 and the next-time trailer!

And here we go! Let's go kill Hitler, guys.

Remember, there are spoilers in this post for 6x08 and the next time trailer.

For everyone on the East Coast: stay safe bbs! Hopefully Hurricane Irene will blow over soon.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand we are back, we are back. How've you been, Starwhales? Did you have a good summer with lots of exciting adventures? Did you stave off boredom with a stack of toothpicks and some paint? Were you worked like a horse until a kind boy from your past recognized you and put you out to pasture? Were you in a coma for the past three months so that actually it seems like you saw A Good Man Goes to War just last weekend and you have not, in fact, waited at all?

No matter how you've spent your time, Doctor Who returns tomorrow at 7.10pm on BBC1 and also at other times around the world. So here is your pre-episode squee post for tomorrow's episode, 6x08 Let's Kill Hitler! Okay let's go already.

Speculation? Predictions? New bingo cards? Any good stories? Shall we discuss the fact that they've discovered the planet Midnight?

This post is brought to you by my new TARDIS mug.

It has a lid.

It's time for Torchwood: Miracle Day 4x05 The Categories of Life! Wherein our heroes and maybe some people who aren't our heroes define the categories of life. There may be some ethical questions asked. And possibly some people's morals shall be compromised. You never know, man.

Here is a fanvid _thirty2flavors linked me to pass the time:

You're welcome.

Spoilers for 4x05 and 4x06 next-time trailer in the comments, so be cool, yo.

So in the fourth episode of Torchwood, we get the most hilariously lame episode title ever. I don't have a macro but here's a gif of Gwen being a BAMF:

Spoilers for 4x04 and the 4x05 preview in the comments.
